ADRIANO LEITE RIBEIRO


Adriano Leite Ribeiro, [2] better known as Adriano (Rio de Janeiro, February 17, 1982 [3]), is a Brazilian footballer who acts as a forward. Currently plays for Flamengo.

On August 17, 2009, Adriano received from City Hall City Council of Rio de Janeiro the Medal of Merit Pedro Ernesto [4], the most important insignia of the city, which is given to citizens who stand out in the community. The justifications for the honor were resilience and humility of the player, besides the fact that he "make the happiness of thousands of Cariocas."

Adriano was born and lived during his youth in Vila Cruzeiro one of the most dangerous slums of Rio de Janeiro, began his career in the divisions of the Flemish and was promoted to the professional team in 2000. That same year, still at the age of eighteen, the attacker was his first cap for the Brazilian.

The player from an early age, already impressed everyone because of his enormous physical strength. But it was only years later, he also became known for his strong kicks with his left leg.

Similarities/Comparisons

The Similarities between Adriano and me, is that we both love the Flemish, time in which Adriano Joga, comparisons he plays well and I do not.
